Reef Plus Seachem 2 L – Complete Reef Supplement

Reef Plus is formulated to replicate the nutrients naturally found in tropical reef waters. It contains essential vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin B12, thiamine, inositol, and choline, combined with amino acids, iodide, and a wide range of trace elements necessary for metabolism and pigment formation.

Unlike many incomplete vitamin supplements, Reef Plus goes beyond just vitamins and trace elements. It also includes bioavailable amino acids, essential for tissue growth and coloration of reef organisms.

Trace elements and organic compounds are continuously consumed or degraded by oxidation and precipitation. Regular supplementation with Reef Plus helps maintain a stable reef environment, promoting the growth of corals, color intensity, and overall tank vitality.

The addition of iron and other trace elements notably contributes to improving the coloration and growth of corals, anemones, and photosynthetic organisms.

Usage and Dosage

Reef Plus can also be used as a food soak by mixing 1 ml of product with about 15 ml of food to enrich frozen or dry foods.

Compatibility and Precautions

Reef Plus contains beneficial organic compounds that may temporarily lower the redox potential. The simultaneous use of ozone is not recommended during dosing, as ozone rapidly destroys vitamins and amino acids.

The product is compatible with skimming. Some compounds may be removed by the skimmer, which is taken into account in the recommended dosing frequency.

Storage

Reef Plus should be refrigerated after opening. Under these conditions, the product generally lasts between 6 and 12 months.
