Reef Fusion 1 Seachem is the calcium component of the two-part Reef Fusion system. It provides a concentrated source of ionic calcium as well as essential trace elements to maintain stable calcium levels suitable for coral growth.
The Reef Fusion system is based on two complementary supplements that can be used together or separately as needed. Reef Fusion 1 provides calcium, while Reef Fusion 2 provides alkalinity. Used together, they help maintain essential stable parameters in a reef aquarium.
Reef Fusion 1 provides 100,000 mg/L of ionic calcium. It also includes biologically appropriate levels of magnesium, strontium, boron, iron, manganese, and molybdenum, contributing to a balanced reef environment.
Reef Fusion 2 contains a blend of carbonates and bicarbonates with an alkalinity of 4,400 meq/L, intended to restore and maintain alkalinity in the reef aquarium.
Function: supply and maintenance of calcium.
Type of calcium: ionic calcium.
Concentration: 100,000 mg/L.
System: two-part Reef Fusion supplement.
Dosage ratio: 1:1 with Reef Fusion 2.
Compatibility: reef aquarium.
Calcium should be maintained between 380 and 420 mg/L and alkalinity between 3 and 6 meq/L to ensure suitable conditions for the growth of corals and other calcareous organisms.
500 ml, 1 L, 2 L, 4 L.
Dose the aquarium every 1 to 2 days. Shake well before use.
Add 1 ml of Reef Fusion 1 for every 25 L of water in a high-flow area. Wait a few minutes, then add Reef Fusion 2 at the same dose, that is, 1 ml for every 25 L, after shaking.
It is preferable to add both products in different locations in the aquarium.
This dose provides approximately 4 mg/L of calcium and 0.176 meq/L of alkalinity.
Never mix Reef Fusion 1 and Reef Fusion 2 directly. The dose or frequency can be increased if necessary, without exceeding 4 ml for every 25 L per day.
Reef Fusion 1 and Reef Fusion 2 can be used separately if calcium and alkalinity are not balanced. It is possible to adjust only the calcium with Reef Fusion 1 when the alkalinity is already correct.
