Colombo Marine Sand S 5 kg – Natural Marine Sand with Medium Grain

Colombo Marine Sand S is a fully natural marine sand designed for setting up marine and reef aquariums. Its S grain size, slightly coarser than the XS version, provides a stable, aesthetic, and easy-to-maintain substrate.

A Natural Substrate for Marine Aquariums

Made from natural materials, Colombo Marine Sand respects the biological balance of the tank. It provides a healthy base for the aquarium and supports the stability of live rocks, while contributing to an environment suitable for marine organisms.

Reef Décor Installation

Start by placing an even layer of Colombo Marine Sand on the bottom of the aquarium. Then position the live rocks, creating open areas intended to later accommodate corals.

It is advisable to leave enough space between the rocks and the glass to facilitate cleaning and maintenance of the tank in the long term.

S Grain Size

The S version offers a slightly coarser grain, appreciated for its durability over time and ease of siphoning during maintenance operations. It is suitable for both reef aquariums and mixed marine tanks.
