A natural sand suitable for marine aquariums

Made from natural materials, Colombo Marine Sand respects the biological balance of the aquarium. It provides a healthy base for reef décor and ensures good stability of live rocks while promoting water circulation at the substrate level.

Setting up the reef décor

Start by laying an even layer of Colombo Marine Sand on the bottom of the aquarium. Then, position the live rocks in a stable manner, creating clear areas planned to later accommodate corals.

It is recommended to maintain sufficient space between the rocks and the glass to facilitate long-term tank cleaning and maintenance.

M Grain Size

The M version is characterized by a coarser grain than the XS and S versions. It is particularly appreciated for its stability against water movement and its ease of siphoning during regular maintenance operations.
