Behavior and Use in Aquariums
Pearl Beach™ is marketed dry, allowing for a greater amount of substrate per equal weight compared to substrates sold wet. It provides a stable mineral base that can be naturally colonized by bacteria present in the aquarium.
Both dry and wet substrates host similar bacteria. To accelerate the biological setup of a new aquarium, using a product specifically designed for this purpose is more appropriate.

Installation and Water Setup
Rinse the substrate before use to remove any residual dust.
When filling the aquarium, add water slowly to avoid disturbing the Pearl Beach™ substrate bed. It is recommended to pour water into a container placed in the aquarium so that it gently overflows onto the gravel.
Initial cloudiness is normal. It can be removed using mechanical filtration such as filter wool. Using a compatible water clarifier can accelerate the clarification process.
