Gray Coast™ is a fully natural calcite substrate designed for marine, reef, and tropical aquariums. Its mineral composition helps stabilize calcium and alkalinity while limiting significant pH drops.
Natural calcite substrate.
Suitable for marine and reef aquariums.
Helps stabilize calcium and alkalinity.
Rich in magnesium.
Gray Coast™ is sold dry, allowing for a larger quantity of substrate by weight compared to wet substrates. It provides a stable mineral support, naturally colonizable by bacteria present in the aquarium.
Dry and wet substrates host similar bacteria. To accelerate the biological setup of a new aquarium, using a product specifically designed for this purpose is more appropriate.
Units expressed in ppm.
| Ca | Fe | Mg | Mn | Mo | Sr | V | Zn |

Rinse the substrate before use to remove any residual dust.
When filling the aquarium, add water slowly to avoid disturbing the Gray Coast™ substrate bed. It is advisable to pour the water into a container placed in the aquarium so it gently overflows onto the gravel.
Initial cloudiness is normal. It can be eliminated using mechanical filtration such as filter wool. The use of a compatible water clarifier can accelerate clarification.
