JBL CO2/pH Permanent Test-Set – Permanent CO2 and pH Test

The JBL CO2/pH Permanent Test-Set is designed for continuous monitoring of dissolved carbon dioxide in aquarium water. It also provides a visual indication of the pH value.

Measurement Function

The test allows for direct measurement of CO2 content expressed in mg/l. The optimal range indicated is between 20 and 25 mg/l.

pH Indication

The device also represents the pH value in a range between 6.4 and 7.8.

Operating Principle

The special indicator measures CO2 content independently of substances influencing pH, such as humic acids or nitrates.

The pH indication is reliable only when no pH-modifying substances have been added to the aquarium, such as pH-Minus products or peat.

Usage Duration

The indicator liquid should be replaced every 3 to 4 weeks. The total duration of use for the test is between 9 and 12 months.
