SeaGel is a balanced mix of 50% MatrixCarbon and 50% PhosGuard, optimized for reef, marine, and freshwater aquariums not buffered with phosphate.

Operating Principle

MatrixCarbon ensures effective removal of organic impurities and colored compounds, while PhosGuard neutralizes phosphates, silicates, toxic metals, and acids.

This combination compensates for any potential phosphate leaching, making SeaGel perfectly suitable for sensitive reef aquariums.

Installation and Dosage

Use 250 ml for 150 to 225 liters of water.

Place in a filter bag and position in a high flow area.

Rinse with freshwater before use.

Note: the media may fizz and heat up when first wet.

Usage Duration

SeaGel works on average for 3 to 4 months depending on the organic load and pollution levels of the tank.
