Recommended Dosage

- 1 ml per 100 liters increases the copper level by 1 µg/l
- Do not exceed an increase of 0.5 µg/l per day (0.5 ml per 100 liters)
- Each bottle contains 15,000 µg of copper

Symptoms Related to Low Copper Levels

Copper is an important cofactor in certain enzymes, for example for iron utilization in fish or in calcium metabolism. However, no confirmed symptoms of copper deficiency are currently identified.

Causes of Low Copper Levels

In reef aquariums, a low copper level is considered normal due to the potential toxicity of this element. The goal is for copper to be detectable only at very low concentrations.
