Effects of too low lithium levels
Although symptoms are not very visible, lithium deficiency could lead to:
- A decrease in enzymatic activity
- Overall ionic imbalance
- Slowed metabolism of certain soft corals
Recommended Dosage
- 1 ml per 100 liters increases lithium concentration by 15 µg/l
- Do not exceed 15 µg/l per day
- Each bottle contains 225,000 µg of lithium
Common causes of lithium deficiency
- Sea salts low in lithium
- Prolonged use of zeolites or activated carbon
