Balling Salts Biopolymer Mg Fauna Marin is a specific salt intended for magnesium supply in reef marine aquariums. It integrates into the recognized Balling Light method, allowing precise and controlled magnesium supplementation, in addition to calcium, carbonates, and trace elements.

Principle of the Balling Light Method

The Balling Light method of Fauna Marin is a complete and autonomous system, compatible with all types of marine aquariums and standard filtration systems, including ZEO and Berlin methods. It allows supplementation of only the elements actually consumed by the aquarium, ensuring long-lasting parameter stability.

Advantages of Magnesium Mix

The Magnesium Mix contains a combination of trace elements that promote coral growth and coloration. Its customized dosing, calculated using AquaCalculator, effectively prevents the old tank syndrome. Its concentrated formulation ensures economical and reliable supplementation, with stable values in calcium, magnesium, and carbonates for healthy and well-colored soft corals.

Preparation of Bottle 2 – Magnesium Mix

Dissolve 2 kg of Balling Light Magnesium Mix in 3 liters of osmosis water. Mix thoroughly, then top up with osmosis water to achieve a final volume of 5 liters.

In bottle 2, no addition of Balling Light Trace 1 to 3 is necessary. The new Balling Light method does not require magnesium sulfate.

The amount to dose depends on the specific consumption of each aquarium. It is recommended to precisely calculate the needs using AquaCalculator and adjust the dosing accordingly.

Use of the Balling Light System

The Balling Light method requires the use of three distinct bottles for a complete supply of the reef aquarium. Bottle 2 should contain only the Magnesium Mix.
