Measured Parameters
Chlorine: detection of disinfectant present in tap water.
pH: measurement range from 6.4 to 9.0.
KH: from 0 to 20 °dKH, indicator of pH stability.
GH: from less than 1 to greater than 21 °dGH, total water hardness.
Nitrites: from 0 to 10 mg/l, toxic nitrogen compounds.
Nitrates: from 0 to 250 mg/l, nutrients promoting algae growth.
CO2: estimation of CO2 content using a chart.
Usage
The strips are briefly immersed in the aquarium water. Results are obtained quickly by color comparison.
