ATI ICP Element Selenium 1000ml

The ATI ICP Element Selenium is a highly pure solution designed to increase selenium in reef aquariums. It is ideal for correcting deficiencies and ensuring a controlled daily supply, essential for the resistance of corals against high light intensities.

Recommended Dosage

- 1 ml per 100 liters increases the selenium level by 0.5 µg/l
- Do not exceed an increase of 0.5 µg/l per day (1 ml per 100 liters)
- Each bottle contains 7,500 µg of selenium

Symptoms of Selenium Deficiency

- Reduced tolerance to high light intensity
- Lack of antioxidant protection, as selenoproteins normally protect corals from oxidative stress

Common Causes of Low Selenium Levels

- Insufficient content in some sea salts or trace element mixtures
- Element often absent from formulations due to its extremely low concentration
