The Nemateleotris decora, also known as the Elegant Decorated Fish, is a gem of the reef aquarium. This small, peaceful fish is highly sought after for its delicately colored appearance and calm behavior. Easy to acclimate, it is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
A Sleek Fish with a Spectacular Appearance
Its fusiform body features subtle shades ranging from pearly white to a deep violet towards the rear. Its dorsal fin is extended by a long and graceful spine, which accentuates its elegant silhouette. These colors, rare in the reef world, add a refined touch to your aquarium.
Peaceful and Discreet Behavior

Poisson reçu en pleine forme plus beau que celui que j'ai déjà, dommage ils ne s'entendent pas trop, chacun son coin. Peut-être avec le temps...

Merveilleux petit poisson mais attention, il peut aisément sortir de l'aquarium s'il panique. Je déplore la perte d'un de mes Nemateleoris suite à un nettoyage approfondi de mon bac. Je l'ai retrouvé le lendemain tout desséché à proximité. C'est un poisson peureux qui peut disparaitre une semaine ou deux suite à une agression.. Donc, attention à l'acclimatation. Bien acclimaté, c'est un poisson très calme et de toute beauté. Introduire un couple semble favoriser l'acclimatation, ils sont inséparables et supportent mieux le stress.
