Nitrate Professional Test 100T – Royal Nature Nitrate Test

The Nitrate Professional Test 100T by Royal Nature is a colorimetric test designed to measure the nitrate concentration in marine and reef aquarium water. Results are expressed in PPM, and each kit allows for up to 100 tests.

Testing Instructions

Using the 5 ml syringe, add 5 ml of aquarium water to the test vial.

Add 5 drops of NO3-2 reagent to the test vial and gently shake for 30 seconds.

Then add a leveled spoon of NO3-1 reagent to the test vial and gently shake for 30 seconds.

Let the solution sit for 5 minutes. If the colors continue to change, let it sit for an additional 2 minutes to obtain an optimal result.

Hold the test vial next to the provided color chart, on a white area of the chart, then compare the obtained color with the scale. An intermediate color corresponds to an intermediate nitrate concentration.

Useful Information

Keep the kit out of reach of children.

Before any use, ensure that the test vial and measuring instruments are washed only with osmosed water and dried with a soft paper.

The NO3-1 and NO3-2 reagents should be stored in a dark place, ideally in their original box, and their exposure to light should be limited.
