Copper Professional Test 50T – Royal Nature Copper Test

The Copper Professional Test 50T by Royal Nature is a colorimetric test designed to measure the total copper concentration in marine and reef aquarium water. Results are expressed in PPM, and each kit allows for up to 50 tests.

Main Features

Test type: Total copper.

Number of tests: 50.

Measurement unit: PPM.

Usage: Marine and reef aquarium.

Testing Instructions

Using the 2.5 ml syringe, add exactly 2 ml of aquarium water into the test vial.

Add 2 drops of Cu-1 reagent into the test vial and gently shake for 30 seconds.

Hold the test vial next to the provided color chart, on a white area, then compare the obtained color with the scale. An intermediate color corresponds to an intermediate copper concentration.

Useful Information

Keep the kit out of reach of children.

Before use, ensure that the test vial and measuring instruments are washed only with osmotic water and dried with a soft paper.

The Cu-1 reagent should always be stored in a dark place, ideally in its original box, to limit its exposure to light.

Copper is commonly used as a treatment against certain parasitic infections in aquariums. Copper levels should never exceed the values recommended by the treatment used.

The copper concentration must be regularly monitored throughout the treatment period. Frequent tests are necessary to maintain copper within the desired range.

The Royal Nature Copper test allows for measuring total copper levels from 0 to 5 PPM, equivalent to mg/L.

For a reliable reading, perform the color comparison under neutral and even lighting.
