Flourite Dark Seachem is a premium natural substrate specially designed for planted freshwater aquariums.

Its dark hue highlights the plants and fish while providing a long-lasting nutritive support for root development.

Substrate for Planted Aquariums

Flourite Dark is composed of stabilized natural porous clay, specially fractured to achieve optimal granularity.

It promotes plant rooting and offers an excellent surface for beneficial bacteria colonization.

It is ideal when used alone as the main substrate bed but can also be mixed with other gravels if necessary.

Chemical Neutrality

Flourite Dark is neither chemically treated nor coated.

It does not alter the water's pH and can be safely used in all freshwater aquariums.

Durability

Setup

Although pre-cleaned, Flourite Dark being a natural product, rinsing is recommended before use to remove residual dust from transport.

When filling the aquarium, it is advisable to add water slowly to avoid disturbing the substrate bed.

A slight initial turbidity is normal and quickly disappears with mechanical filtration.
