The Pictichromis paccagnellae, also known as the vanilla-strawberry dottyback fish, is a small, vibrant marine fish native to the coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific region. This fish owes its nickname to its intense bicolor appearance, which adds a real splash of color to any reef aquarium.
The Pictichromis paccagnellae features an elongated body about 6 to 7 cm long. The front of the body is a sparkling violet, while the back half boasts a vivid yellow. The separation between the two shades is sharp and vertical, giving this fish its distinctive look.
A territorial and assertive behavior
The vanilla-strawberry dottyback fish is territorial and spirited. It is not recommended to house it with other fish of similar color or smaller size. Its natural instinct drives it to actively defend its living space, especially in confined environments.
However, it is perfectly compatible with robust species in a reef aquarium rich in hiding places, which limits aggressive interactions.

- Small pieces of mussels, shrimp, or squid.

Un remarquable S.A.V. professionnel et à l'écoute.
Mon poisson a eu un problème, l'origine en est inconnue. Il est arrivé assez faible, et n'a pas survécu. Mal reçu par les habitants du bac ? affaibli par le trajet en cette période estivale ? Difficile à dire et là n'est pas le propos. Quand j'ai fait part du problème j'ai été immédiatement contacté par Récif At Home. Je suis tombé sur une personne à l'écoute et d'un professionnalisme rare. Je n'ai donc aucune remarque désobligeante à formuler, et au contraire je n'ai que des compliments à faire.

Super sympa ...
Poisson bien arrivé dans son eau à la bonne température malgré le froid de la montagne. Paisible avec mes 2 clowns, il s'acclimate tranquillement.
