MultiTest Ammonia Seachem is a test kit that allows for precise measurement of free ammonia (NH3) and total ammonia (NH3 + NH4+) in marine or freshwater aquariums. It enables detection below 0.05 mg/L and is based on gas exchange sensor technology.

Benefits and Use
This test specifically monitors free ammonia, the toxic form of ammonia, without being affected by the use of conditioners or neutralizing products. Unlike traditional tests, it does not cause the release of bound ammonia during measurement.
It can be used continuously, even in aquariums treated with ammonia detoxification products.
Seachem Sensor Technology
MultiTest Ammonia uses the same sensor technology as permanent monitoring systems based on gas exchange. This method provides reliable readings of free ammonia, even in the presence of neutralizing products that are usually incompatible with salicylate or Nessler tests.

Validation and Accuracy
The kit includes a reference solution to verify the proper functioning of the test. This validation is optional but recommended if there is any doubt about the results obtained.
Safety Tips
The ammonia reagent contains a strong base and the sensor storage gel contains a strong acid. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
