Importance of Copper in Aquariums
Copper is commonly used as an active ingredient in some antiparasitic treatments. However, it is toxic to invertebrates and must be strictly controlled, especially in reef aquariums.
A reliable test allows maintaining the concentration in the therapeutic range when a treatment is ongoing, or verifying the complete absence of copper in tanks hosting sensitive invertebrates.
