ATI Nutrition N 500 ml – Nitrogen nutritional management for reef aquariums
ATI Nutrition N is part of the Nutrition CNP system developed by ATI to ensure a controlled supply of organic compounds and essential nutrients in reef aquariums.
For skeleton formation, corals need calcium, carbonate, magnesium, strontium, and barium. To build biomass, they also require trace elements, organic compounds, and the fundamental nutrients carbon (C), nitrogen (N), and phosphorus (P).
The role of nitrogen in the CNP system
Nitrogen is essential for building proteins, DNA, and cellular structures. Appropriate availability allows corals and reef microorganisms to produce energy and building materials.
An imbalance—especially nitrogen limitation—can slow biological growth and lead to an accumulation of nitrates or phosphates in the water, in accordance with Liebig’s law of the minimum.
Management based on the Redfield ratio
The ratio of carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus is called the C:N:P ratio. The best known is the Redfield ratio, derived from the study of phytoplankton, which indicates an average requirement of 106 parts carbon, 16 parts nitrogen, and 1 part phosphorus.

Ideal pour aqua tres oligotrophe
Mon bac était sans nitrate et phosphate détectable depuis plusieurs mois. Mon euphyllia regressait doucement. Mon ecumeur ne sortait presque plus d'ecume. Depuis 2 semaines que j'utilise ati nutrition N et P l'ecume est réapparue, l' euphylia repart et les coraux vont globalement mieux.
